What's the travel booking process?

Step 1: Submit Your Travel Request
Complete our Travel Request Form with your destination, travel dates, budget, and travel preferences.

Step 2: Receive Your Travel Planning & Quote Fee Invoice
After reviewing your Travel Request Form, we'll email you an invoice for your Travel Planning & Quote Fee. The fee is based on the type of travel you've requested. Travel planning begins once your Travel Planning & Quote Fee has been paid.

Step 3: Begin Planning
Once your payment has been received, we'll begin researching and planning your trip. You'll receive your personalized travel options by email within 48 business hours.

Step 4: Secure Your Booking
Once you've selected your preferred travel option, securing your reservation is simple.

You'll have two ways to pay your deposit:
• Pay your deposit directly through your personalized travel proposal using our secure booking system.
• Request a secure payment link, and we'll email it to you to complete your deposit.

Once your deposit has been received, we'll confirm your reservation and send your booking confirmation.

Step 5: Access Your Client Portal
After your reservation has been confirmed, we'll email you instructions for accessing your secure Client Portal.

Your Client Portal allows you to:
• Make future payments
• View your itinerary
• Access travel documents
• Stay informed about your upcoming trip.

How do I make payments toward my trip after the initial deposit?

After your trip has been booked, you'll receive access to your secure Client Portal.

Your Client Portal allows you to:
• Make additional payments toward your trip.
• View your itinerary and booking details.
• Access important travel documents.
• Stay up to date on your upcoming trip.

If your trip includes a payment plan, you may make payments at any time before your final payment deadline. Final payment deadlines are determined by the travel supplier and will be shared with you during the booking process.
Client Portal login instructions will be provided after your booking has been confirmed.

How far in advance should I start planning my trip?

We recommend reaching out as early as possible for the best availability and flexibility. For cruises and group travel, planning 6–12 months in advance is ideal. Resort and international trips are best planned 4–6 months ahead.
That said, we do offer select last minute stays when availability allows. While last minute travel can sometimes be accommodated, planning early typically provides better availability, pricing, and a smoother overall experience.

Do I have any Client Responsibilities?

Yes. While The Travel Morena handles the planning and coordination of your trip, there are certain responsibilities that remain yours as the traveler. Meeting these requirements is essential to ensuring your trip runs smoothly.

Travel Documents & Identification
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid and appropriate travel documents for your trip. For international travel, this typically includes a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your return date and has sufficient blank pages, if required by the destination. The name on your booking must exactly match your government-issued identification. It is your responsibility to review all travel documents for accuracy once they are provided.

Visas & Entry Requirements
Some destinations require visas or additional entry approvals. It is your responsibility to research and obtain any required visas and ensure you meet all entry requirements. Approval of a visa does not guarantee entry, as final admission decisions are made by immigration officials upon arrival.

Health & Vaccination Requirements
Certain destinations may require vaccinations, medical documentation, or other health-related precautions. It is your responsibility to consult with a medical professional and review official health guidance well before departure.

While we're happy to provide general guidance, staying informed and meeting all travel documentation, entry, and health requirements ultimately remains the traveler's responsibility.

Why choose The Travel Morena?

The Travel Morena specializes in thoughtfully planned travel with a strong focus on group cruises and curated experiences. We work best with travelers who want their trip handled with intention, clarity, and ease, not those looking to manage every detail themselves. From group celebrations to friends and family getaways, we take the lead on logistics, coordination, and planning so you don't have to. Our clients trust us to guide the process, make informed recommendations, and manage the moving parts that often make travel stressful.

As a boutique travel agency, we provide a high-touch, hands-on planning experience designed for travelers who value expertise, clear communication, and a seamless journey. If you're looking for full control over every decision, we may not be the right fit. If you're looking for a trusted travel partner who will handle the details and advocate for you every step of the way, you're in the right place.

Do I need to review your Terms and Conditions before booking?

Yes. It is your responsibility to review and agree to The Travel Morena's Terms & Conditions before booking any trip. Choosing to proceed without reading them does not exempt you from being bound by them. Once a booking is confirmed, you are responsible for adhering to our policies as well as those of the travel supplier. If someone books travel on your behalf, it is still your responsibility to ensure you have reviewed and agreed to our Terms & Conditions before submitting payment. Reviewing these policies upfront helps set clear expectations and allows us to provide the best possible experience from start to finish.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Many trips booked through The Travel Morena offer a pay-as-you-go payment option, allowing you to secure your booking with a deposit and pay the remaining balance over time. Available payment plans vary by travel supplier and trip type.

Final payment deadlines are determined by the travel supplier and typically fall 45–60 days prior to departure. It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time. If a balance is not paid by the supplier's deadline, your booking may be canceled and applicable penalties may apply. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

In some cases, additional payment options may be available through third-party providers, allowing qualified travelers to extend payments beyond their travel dates. Availability and terms vary by provider. We'll always communicate your payment schedule and important deadlines clearly so you know exactly what to expect.

What if I decide not to book after receiving my travel options?

Your Travel Planning & Quote Fee covers the time and expertise required to research and prepare your personalized travel options. Because planning services begin immediately after payment is received, the fee is nonrefundable.

While there is no obligation to book after receiving your travel options, the Travel Planning & Quote Fee will not be credited toward a future trip if you choose not to book. We'll be happy to assist you whenever you're ready to plan your next trip.

Do you book Airbnb accommodations?

No. For security, reliability, and quality control reasons, we do not book Airbnb properties. We do assist with professionally managed vacation rentals, hotels, resorts, and cruises that meet our service and quality standards. This allows us to better support our clients, advocate on their behalf if issues arise, and provide a smoother overall travel experience.
