Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

FAQ

Below you will find answers to the most common questions you may have on TheTravelMorena.com .

Do I need to review your Terms and Conditions before booking?

Yes. It is your responsibility to review and agree to The Travel Morena Terms and Conditions prior to booking any trip. Choosing to proceed with a booking without reading the Terms and Conditions does not exempt you from being bound by them. Once a booking is confirmed, you are responsible for adhering to our policies as well as the policies of the travel supplier. If someone books travel on your behalf, it is still your responsibility to ensure you have reviewed and agreed to our Terms and Conditions before submitting any payment. Reviewing these policies upfront helps set clear expectations and allows us to provide the best possible experience from start to finish.

Why choose The Travel Morena?

The Travel Morena specializes in thoughtfully planned travel with a strong focus on group cruises and curated experiences. We work best with travelers who want their trip handled with intention, clarity, and ease not those looking to manage every detail themselves. From group celebrations to friends and family getaways, we take the lead on logistics, coordination, and planning so you don’t have to. Our clients trust us to guide the process, make informed recommendations, and manage the moving parts that often make travel stressful. As a boutique agency, we offer a high-touch, hands-on planning experience designed for travelers who value expertise, clear communication, and a seamless journey. If you’re looking for full control over every decision, we may not be the right fit. If you’re looking for a travel partner who will handle the details and advocate for you every step of the way, you’re in the right place.

What types of trips do you specialize in?

The Travel Morena specializes in cruises, group travel, resort stays, and thoughtfully curated experiences. Our primary focus is on U.S. and Caribbean destinations that originate from the United States, while also offering select trips around the world. We work best with travelers who value professional planning, clear timelines, and a well-managed experience, particularly for group cruises, milestone celebrations, and intentional getaways.

Is there a fee to receive a travel quote?

There is no upfront booking or inquiry fee. Every client receives one complimentary travel quote, which includes up to three tailored options based on your preferences. If additional quote options, revisions, or extended research are requested beyond the initial quote, a service fee may apply. In many cases, applicable service fees are already included within the final travel quote and will always be clearly communicated before booking. All clients are required to complete our travel request form prior to receiving a quote. This form outlines our minimum booking requirements to ensure we’re the right fit and allows us to provide a smooth, well-supported planning experience from start to finish.

Do you book Airbnb accommodations?

No. For security, reliability, and quality control reasons, we do not book Airbnb properties. We do, however, assist with professionally managed vacation rentals, as well as hotels, resorts, and cruises that meet our service and safety standards. This approach allows us to better support our clients, advocate on their behalf if issues arise, and ensure a smoother overall travel experience.

How far in advance should I start planning my trip?

We recommend reaching out as early as possible for the best availability and flexibility. For cruises and group travel, planning 6–12 months in advance is ideal. Resort and international trips are best planned 4–6 months ahead. That said, we do offer select last-minute stays when availability allows. While last-minute travel can sometimes be accommodated, earlier planning typically provides better options, pricing, and a smoother overall experience.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Many trips booked through The Travel Morena offer a pay-as-you-go payment option, allowing you to secure your booking with a deposit and pay the remaining balance over time. Final payment deadlines are set by the travel supplier and typically fall 45–60 days prior to departure. It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time. If a balance is not paid by the supplier’s deadline, the booking may be canceled and applicable penalties may apply. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. In some cases, additional payment options may be available through third-party providers, which may allow payments to extend beyond your travel dates if you qualify. Availability and terms vary by supplier and provider. We’ll always communicate payment timelines clearly so you know exactly what to expect and when.

Do I have any Client Responsibilities?

Yes. While The Travel Morena handles the planning and coordination of your trip, there are certain responsibilities that remain yours as the traveler. Meeting these requirements is essential to ensuring your trip runs smoothly.

Travel documents and identification
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid and appropriate travel documents for your trip. For international travel, this typically includes a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your return date and has sufficient blank pages, if required by the destination. Airlines and border officials may deny boarding or entry if these requirements are not met, and The Travel Morena is not responsible for any resulting delays, losses, or missed travel.

The name on your booking must exactly match your government-issued identification. It is your responsibility to review all documents for accuracy once provided.

Visas and entry requirements
Some destinations require visas or additional entry approvals. It is your responsibility to research and obtain any required visas and ensure you meet all entry requirements. Approval of a visa does not guarantee entry, as final admission decisions are made by immigration officials upon arrival. The Travel Morena is not responsible for denied entry, visa issues, or any related financial loss.

Health and vaccination requirements
Certain destinations may require vaccinations, medical documentation, or other health-related precautions. It is your responsibility to consult with a medical professional and review official health guidance well in advance of travel. Some requirements must be completed months before departure, and failure to comply may result in denied boarding or entry.

While we’re happy to share general guidance, staying informed and compliant with travel documentation, entry, and health requirements is ultimately the traveler’s responsibility.

What's the travel booking process?

Our Booking Process

We’ve designed our booking process to be clear, streamlined, and stress free so you can focus on the excitement of your trip while we handle the details.

Step 1: Submit a Travel Request

Begin by completing the Travel Request Form on our website. This step is required for every client and helps us understand your travel goals, preferences, and overall vision for your trip. Once your request is received, we’ll review the details and confirm next steps.

Step 2: Review Your Complimentary Quote

Every client receives one complimentary travel quote, which includes up to three thoughtfully curated options tailored to your preferences. This allows you to compare and choose the option that best fits your needs without feeling overwhelmed. If you’d like additional options, revisions, or expanded research beyond the initial quote, a service fee may apply. Any applicable fees will always be discussed and approved before moving forward.

Step 3: Secure Your Booking

Once you’ve selected your preferred option, we’ll move forward with securing your booking. All payments are required to be submitted through our secure client portal. If needed, a direct payment link can be sent to your email for access to the same secure travel portal. This step is required for every client.

Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and final payment deadlines are determined by the travel supplier and will be clearly communicated before booking.

Step 4: Enhancing Your Experience

After your trip is officially booked, we shift focus to enhancing your experience. At this stage, we prefer to review potential excursions, tours, and add-on experiences. Planning excursions after booking allows us to ensure all available options align with your confirmed itinerary, schedule, and travel style. We also strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind in the event of unexpected changes. While travel insurance is not required, it is highly encouraged for all trips.

Step 5: Support Before, During, and After Travel

We remain available throughout the planning process and while you’re traveling. From answering questions to assisting if plans change, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

If changes are requested after booking, such as itinerary adjustments or additional services, applicable service fees may apply and must be paid before changes are made.

Why This Process Works

Our approach is ideal for travelers who want a well-planned, intentional experience without managing every detail themselves. By leading the process and handling logistics, we create trips that feel organized, thoughtful, and easy from start to finish.
